The Guilty Stutters

“ The guilty stutters” is a short documentary film which explores the themes of confession and guilt through performance and narration. The film incorporates performative gestures to documents the process of my ethical rethink in relation to my past photography. The core concept is the very process which is required for one to fundamentally rethink the self. The film formulate rethink as a venture of destruction followed by reconstruction. Performance was the most suitable medium as it allowed my own body to enter this dialogue and it has defiantly assisted my capability of attending this catharsis. Performance with its immanence power forces its subject to a sense of vulnerability which I take as the principal point of this project.
